Nativity Activity

Prepare for the coming of Christ each week this season by reflecting on the mystery of the manger.

- A Christmas Countdown -

Nativity scenes were unheard of until St. Francis set up the first one in a cave outside of Greccio, Italy, in 1223. His goal was to remind people of the poverty into which Christ chose to be born because he felt the faithful they were too enmeshed in materialism and missing the point of the Gospel.
