#1 – CANDY CANE CATCH

Supplies Needed: "4 Feet" Christmas Tinsel/Twine, 2 sturdy chairs, and candy canes
How to Play:
Take 2 sturdy chairs with tall backs and place them back-to-back about 2 feet apart. Tie a piece of ribbon or twine from one post or chair to another. Children must stand on top of the chairs (Adults can Kneel if playing) and try to be the first to drop a candy cane from the chair onto the ribbon and get it to stay there. Play until the first player gets a candy cane to catch on the ribbon or see who can get the most to stay put on the tinsel in a minute.


#2 – HOT CHOCOLATE MARSHMELLOW TOSS

Supplies Needed: Six Holiday Mugs, 6 Large Marshmallows, and Brown Shredded Paper Filler (optional, but adds a level of difficulty)
How to Play:
Place the mugs in a triangular formation at the end of a table. Players stand at the opposite end of the table and attempt to toss a marshmallow into each mug in under a minute. Award points to players who successfully complete the task.

#3 – TRIM THE TREE

Supplies Needed: 2 FT' Mini Christmas trees, plastic Christmas ornaments with plastic hooks attached
How to Play: 

Pick up a handful of mini Christmas trees and place them in a line on the floor. Give each player a bucket full of plastic ornaments that have hooks on them and have them stand on a line of painter’s tape 10 feet away from the mini trees. Players race to be the first to trim a tree by tossing ornaments from the line to try to get them to hang on the tree.
First one to get five ornaments on their tree wins

#4 – JINGLE BELL ROCK & ROLL

Supplies Needed: Ball ornaments and jingle bells
How to Play:

Place five ball ornaments lined up on the end of a table and give the player 10 jingle bells and have them stand on the opposite end of the rectangle table. To play, players must roll their jingle bells from one end of the table and attempt to knock off all five ornaments from the opposite end of the table.

#5 – TOY TOUCHDOWN

Supplies Needed: Plastic Christmas figurines or Christmas ornaments, Christmas basket, duck tape, and panty hose.
How to Play:
Players must pass small toys or ornaments under their legs like they’re hiking a football and have a teammate catch them in a small Christmas basket that’s attached to the second player’s back. Teams race to be the first team to catch five or see who can get the most in a minute.


#6 – Thread the Cheerios

Supplies Needed: uncooked spaghetti, one big bowl or five small bowls, Cheerios.
How to Play:
A bowl of Cheerios is placed in the center of the table and each participant receives one piece of UNCOOKED spaghetti. Instead, you can give each participant a small bowl of Cheerios. The goal of the game is to thread as many pieces of Cheerios as you can onto the spaghetti with one hand and without breaking the spaghetti.


#8 – Reindeer Nose Dive

Supplies Needed: 1 inch red pompoms, ribbon, petroleum jelly.
How to Play:
Tie a red pompom onto the end of a ribbon. Make one of these for each player. Place petroleum jelly on each player’s nose. The player starts with the other end of the ribbon in their mouth. They then have one minute to attempt to swing the ribbon and land the pompom onto their nose and stick there. No hands are allowed to be used in this challenge.
 


#9 – Snow Shoveler - Version 2

Supplies Needed: Two Deep Bowls, Plastic Spoons, and [5] 1-Inch White Pom Poms or small Styrofoam Balls.
How to Play:
Place a bowl of round pom-poms or styrofoam balls on one side of a table and place an empty bowl on the other end or about 5 yards away. Each player gets a plastic spoon and using their mouth only needs to move the 'balls' from one side of the table to the other. The winner is the player who moves the most balls from one bowl to the other.

NOTE: You can use light weight round ornaments, ping pong balls, any round candy or gum balls also.


#10 – Face The Cookies

Supplies Needed: about 3 cookies per person.
How to Play:
Players place a cookie on their forehead and have a minute to move it into their mouth without using hands. The winner is the participant who moves the most cookies into his/her mouth.
 


#11 – NORTH POLE POP

Supplies Needed: Large Balloons (Red and GReen or specialty holiday balloons!) and thick winter gloves
How to Play:
Player have to pop 10 balloons using just their hands with winter gloves on before the time runs out. Definitely one of the most fun minute to win it Christmas games for adults!
