Jason thought his inheritance was going to be the gift of money and lots of it. Was he ever in for a big surprise. Based on the best-selling book "The Ultimate Gift" by Jim Stovall, the story sends trust fund baby Jason Stevens on an improbable journey of discovery, having to answer the ultimate question: "What is the relationship between wealth and happiness?" Jason had a very simple relationship with his impossibly wealthy Grandfather, Howard "Red" Stevens. He hated him. No heart-to-heart talks, no warm fuzzies, just cold hard cash. So of course he figured that when Red died, the whole "reading of the will" thing would be another simple cash transaction, that his Grandfather's money would allow him to continue living in the lifestyle to which he had become accustomed. But what Red left him was anything but simple. Red instead devised a plan for Jason to experience a crash course on life. Twelve tasks, which Red calls "gifts," each challenging Jason in an improbable way, the accumulation of which would change him forever.

In honor of the 2020 CHRISTMAS STAR. Monday night is ‘The Great Conjunction’ of Jupiter and Saturn, something that hasn’t happened in nearly 400 years.

On the night of December 21, The two largest planets in our solar system are coming closer together than they have been since the Middle Ages, and it's happening just in time for Christmas -- This once in a lifetime event has become popularly known as the ‘Christmas Star’ because it is happening during the holiday season... hence the nickname of "The Christmas Star."

"The fact that this event is happening during the winter solstice is pure coincidence" according to NASA.

Game: White Elephant Gift Exchange

If you’re going to a white elephant gift exchange, the goal is to bring something that will make people laugh. I know some people tend to go on the more offensive route, but that’s not my thing so these gifts are funny without being offensive such as the one listed below. I also try to bring things that are funny but not something that will go in the trash as soon as everyone leaves. So no empty paper towel rolls or broken picture frames.

"A white elephant gift is a gag gig, something that’s designed to be funny and not taken seriously."

WHITE ELEPHANT RULES

Each white elephant is run differently, but typically it follows these general rules of thumb:

Each participant brings a wrapped gift to add to the pool.
Players draw numbers to know which order they will choose their gift.
Everyone sits in a circle so they can see all the gifts in the center.
The person who drew #1 goes first by picking a gift from the center and unwrapping it.
The following players can choose to either steal a previous player’s gift or an unwrapped gift from the pool. If someone gets their gift stolen, they can do the same thing – pick a new gift or steal from someone else. Things to keep in mind:
1. A gift can only be stolen once per round.
2. A gift can only be stolen THREE times total (or things will drag on – trust me!)
The game ends with #1 going again and swapping his/her gift with someone else’s.

There are different variations of the game you can play, but these are the standard rules everyone goes by.

Used as a small gift to ladies in a Bible study that has presented himself for Christmas but also will transport our study about his role in transporting Jesus in us last days (Palm Sunday).
